Ronnie Lerma Car & Motorcycle Show

The Garland Police Association is once again inviting you to the 11^th Annual Ronnie Lerma Car and Motorcycle Show benefiting the Metroplex C.O.P.S.

This event was established in memory of Garland Police Officer Ronnie "Animal" Lerma who was killed in the line of duty in a traffic accident on September 21st, 1998.

It is because of Ronnie’s passion for cars and motorcycles, that this memorial event evolved. Best Buy Garland and Dallas Harley-Davidson have teamed up together to sponsor this event.  The event will be held at Best Buy located across from the Firewheel Town Center at 3171 North President George Bush Highway, Garland, Texas 75044 on Saturday October 1, 2011 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM.

The registration fee / donation for the event is $20.00 if you Pre-Register before September 20th(postmarked via mail to P.O. Box 495544, Garland, Texas 75049). This is a "Top 20 Car/Truck Show" and "Top 10 Motorcycle Show".  In addition, there will be "Best of Show Car/Truck" and Best of Show Motorcycle"

In addition to the Car and Motorcycle Show, Dallas Harley-Davidson, located at LBJ/ Centerville Rd in Garland, will host a Ronnie Lerma Poker Run open to any motorcycle and / or car.  Registration for the Poker Run will be at Dallas Harley Davidson on October 1, 2011, 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM.  The registration fee / donation to participate in the Poker Run is $20.00.  Last bike / car out by 11:00.  The Poker Run will be approximately 75 miles and make three stops before concluding at the Best Buy Garland located at 3171 President George Bush Turnpike, Garland, TX.  All Poker Run participants must conclude the run and be present at Best Buy no later that 4:00 PM.  Prizes will be given to the best poker hand at the conclusion of the run.  Participation in the Poker Run will be able enter the show for no additional fee, however, you must register your vehicle for the show at the conclusion of the Poker Run. 

Get there early for the best spaces. Vendors will also be on display along with Bounce houses for the kids. A 50/50 Drawing will be held along with Door Prize Give-A-Ways announced every hour. Everyone is welcome. We hope to see you there!!!
